Pill Wonder
Perfect tropical lo-fi noise-pop. This 8-song EP is criminally short at only 18 minutes, but accomplishes enough in that time to compel you to listen repeatedly. Reminds me of No Age but more chill, or the Ruby Suns but more playful, or Islands but more noisy and good in general. This is poised to be the soundtrack to anyone’s early summer.

Nurses
For me, Nurses- Apple’s Acre conjures up the idea of what Woods would sound like if they got a bit poppier and electric-instrument-happy. Thus, I am a fan, and I enjoy this album. You will too, if you have a soul, which I will admit I can imagine that some of our more frequent music downloading’ fiends do not. It’s all good though, you’re addicted, and we’re H1N1.
